About KVB Therapy

The most meaningful part of my work is helping people create real, lasting change in their lives and relationships. Therapy can be a powerful space to step back from the pressures of daily life, gain clarity, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with who you truly are. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety and stress, as well as couples seeking couples therapy or marriage counseling to strengthen their relationship and navigate challenging dynamics.

My approach to therapy is personal, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel both supported and challenged in the right ways. I am an honest, direct therapist who values transparency and thoughtful conversation. I do not come into sessions with predetermined answers about what you should do. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to listen deeply, offer insight, and introduce perspectives and strategies that may help you move forward. Ultimately, the decisions about your life remain yours.

In couples therapy, I help partners move beyond repeating patterns of conflict and disconnection so they can better understand one another and the dynamics within their relationship. Many couples find themselves stuck in the same arguments, struggling with communication, trust, or emotional distance. In our work together, we slow these interactions down and create space for each partner to feel heard and understood. I help couples identify the underlying emotions and needs driving their interactions, improve communication, rebuild trust, and determine the path forward that feels right for them—whether that means repairing and strengthening the relationship or gaining clarity about what each person truly needs.

My passion for this work is shaped by both professional training and personal experience. Having navigated my own struggles with anxiety, I understand the constant mental noise that can come with it—the late-night worry about everything that might go wrong, the endless to-do lists, and the pressure to keep pushing forward even when you feel depleted. I also understand the uncertainty that can arise in careers and relationships, and the difficult moments when you begin to question yourself or the direction of your life.

Through years of clinical practice using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and stress, I have developed a practical and thoughtful approach to helping clients manage overwhelming thoughts, reduce stress, and regain a sense of control in their lives and relationships. Together, we work to identify patterns that keep you feeling stuck, shift the ways you relate to worry and stress, and create meaningful changes that support your well-being.

My goal is to help you build a life where your well-being is a priority—one where you feel more grounded, empowered, and able to navigate challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and connection. I offer in person and virtual therapy to the Nashville, Brentwood and Franklin areas.
